Partnership of Robert Rainey and Henry Bruce of London and William Bruce Ferguson and James Parr of Demerary carried on as Rainey, Bruce & Co., of Bell Court Mincing Lane dissolved as far as Ferguson and Parr concerned through expiration of the term of the co-partnership 31/12/1837. Business continued by Rainey and Bruce.

Enslaved boy on Unity Valley Pen, Jamaica. Manumitted in 1795 by David Barclay and removed to Philadelphia, with 29 other freed persons from the estate, where he was placed under the care of Society for Improving the Condition of Free Blacks.
