Notes

Braikenridge a patron of the Bristol School of artists. Central to his collection was a copy of William Barrett, History and Antiquities of the City of Bristol and a collection of more than 1,400 drawings and watercolours of Bristol.

Braikenridge was also a collector of fossils.
