Notes

The enslaved people on Keith Hall were purchased by William Robertson from the executors of John Gordon in 1827. Before that, they were very likely living on either Government Mountain or Little Angels estates in St Catherine which had been owned by John Gordon until his death in the early 1820s - records of both estates end in the late 1820s while his third property, Cross's Pen, acquired the enslaved people from one or the other of them.
