Notes

Note that Hope Pen appears in Clarendon and Bull Dead in Vere before the creation of the parish of Manchester in 1814.

James Robertson plotted the estate Virgin's in Clarendon in his map of 1804 - this appears to be a short distance south-east of the modern day village of Hope in Manchester and likely corresponded to the same land.
