Charles Shephard showed, from John Byres 1776 Plan, the Mount Alexander estate as formed from Lots Nos. 16 and 17 (50 and 62 acres, purchased originally by Mocquet and Twerts respectively), Lot No. 19 (31 acres, purchased by Akers) and Lot No. 25 (43 acres, purchased by Audibert), and a further 3 lots totalling 109 acres and two part lots of 31 acres leased to French settlers.
