This is tentative only. Col. William Cleland left two estates names as Cox's and Read's [sic] to his wife Sarah in 1718. She and William Tryon reportedly sold Cox's, then known as Cleland, to Abraham Cumberbatch in 1728 for £6000. However, this does not fit with the known life-dates of Abraham Cumberbatch ne Carleton.
