1817 [EA] - 1818 [LA] → Owner

In the Register the name is given as Renn Hamden; but it is almost certainly Renn Hampden.

£205 16S 11D
An inferred association. The wife of William Welch was identified in his will as Elizabeth Renn Welch, tying 'Mrs Elizabeth Welch' of the Slave Register to Elizabeth R. Welch of the award under Barbados No. 3264. It appears that [most of] the enslaved people on Providence, and perhaps the estate itself, were sold to Robert Reece before 1820. See BA 15535.
