Biography

Father of Alexander Henderson Macdougall (q.v.). Assignee in trust of securities from Christina Campbell (née Fyffe), the wife of John McKinnon Campbell.

  1. Identified as a solicitor of Lincolns Inn in 1821 when the estates for which he was trustee in the 1830s had been put up for sale by the estate of James Campbell; will of Alexander Macdougall proved 11/02/1836.

  2. John McKinnon Campbell, late of Ormaig county of Argyle, had died in October 1816, although letters of administration were granted in 1865.
