Biography

Heir of another Thomas Davidson (who died before 1817) from whom he inherited a share in Harvey Vale estate, Carriacou. Listed as 'Esq. of London' in 1826 and 'Doctor Thomas Davidson M.D.' in 1829. No will has yet been identified, but possibly the Dr Thomas Davidson Doctor of Medicine of Newcastle-under-Lyme whose will was proved 30/01/1839: this man appears to have been the husband of Margaret Davidson nee Leigh, whose own will proved 11/04/1853 'widow of Exeter Devon' and whose will shows family connections in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

  1. 26th March [1853], at Brompton Crescent, aged 50 [the death of] Margarat [sic] widow of the late Thomas Davidson M.D.
