Biography

Elizabeth Erskine (née Harvey), Countess of Buchan, awarded the compensation for the Crayfish estate in Grenada. 

  1. Elizabeth Harvey, the daughter of John Harvey of Castle Semple, married the 12th Earl of Buchan in 1830. Her brother, James Simpson Rae ne Harvey, had died at Crayfish in 1829. Her sister, Margaret Harvey and Margaret's husband James Lee Harvey (both of whom q.v.), were awarded the compensation for the Lower Conference estate in Grenada. Elizabeth Erskine died in 1838.
