Presumably the William Ainslie junior of Sampson, Ainslie who married Charlotte Wedderley only daughter of the late Robert Suffield 24 December [1832] at Port Louis Mauritius.

  1. The will of William Ainlslie formerly of the Cottage, Llanstephan, Carmarthenshire but late of Churcham House who died 29/05/1871 was proved 26/06/1871, effects resworn to £3000 1877. The 1861 census identified him as retired merchant of Calcutta and his wife Charlotte as born in Mauritius.
