Identified as of Merton, Surrey in the compensation records. Unsuccessful counterclaimant for Tomlinson's estate in Antigua (for a debt of £6000), for Whites and Windwards on Montserrat and for another Montserrat claim. Very likely William White, eldest surviving son of Michael White of Montserrat and his first wife Mary nee Hussey. William White had inherited Tomlinson's from his father's first cousin Penelope Tomlinson (q.v.), a spinster who died in Antigua in 1806.
