Son of Thomas John Parker (q.v.), dying c. 1827. He had inherited Chesterfield estate in Vere under the will of his father which was proved in 1823. Chesterfield is registered to him in the Jamaica Almanac of 1827.

  1. Will of Henry Parker of Vere [made in 1826] proved 03/12/1830. Under the will he left an annuity of £200 p.a. and the proceeds of his personalty in Jamaica to his his aunt Sarah McKenzie. He left without further explanation £2000 to Henry Thompson of Great Britain with the interest to support him until 21, and similarly an annuity of £30 p.a. to Matilda Blake to be paid in England, and £150 p.a. to 'my friend' Mrs Campion. He instructed his executors to perfect the freedom of two enslaved people on Hillside, George Lewin and Ellen Broadfoot, and to manumise a third enslaved person, John McCartney. He had, he said received £220 from Isabella Thomas, a slave on Hillside, to purchase the freedom of her five reputed children by 'Mr Pennington', and he ordered his executors to follow through with the purchase. He also left money to purchase and manumise the reputed children of Mr Owen carpenter on Hillside for £50 each and to free the children of Mr Alder on Chesterfield. He left his residuary estate in trust for the children of his deceased brothers James and George.
