Husband of Ann Shaw ("a free mustee"), who inherited Paisley estate in St Elizabeth, Jamaica, on the death of her father William Shaw (the father died before 1817).

  1. Ann Shaw (born 11/09/1790) and Jane Shaw (born 08/09/1793), reputed children of Mr William Shaw by Sarah Campbell "a free quadroon", baptised in St Elizabeth, 12/07/1795.

  2. Peter Shaw Byrne, son of Mr Andrew Byrne and Ann (a free mustee) his wife, born 20/09/1822 and baptised 27/07/1823 in St Elizabeth. Rosanna (born 20/10/1824) and Andre (born 21/01/1728), both "white by law" children of Andrew Byrne and his wife Ann, of Paisley estate, baptised in Jamaica 31/01/1828. Louisa (age 5 years) and Caroline (age 3 years), children of Andrew Bryne [sic] of Paisely [sic], planter, and Anne his wife, baptised in St Elizabeth, 03/11/1837.
