Biography

Son of Charles Gordon Gray (q.v.), 'was admitted pens. at ST JOHN'S, May 3, 1803. S. of Charles Gordon, Esq., of Tracy Park, near Bath. School, Eton. Scholar, 1803. Went to Jamaica; proprietor and manager of estates there. Married, Feb. 14, 1820, Mary Augusta, dau. of M. Faveaux, of the War Office. Died Jan. 29, 1823, at Fairfield, Jamaica.'
