Owner of an estate in St Mary Cayon on St Kitts called Greenhill in Slave Registers 1828-1834 but simply St Mary Cayon in the earlier Slave Registers and in the compensation records. Father of John Delap Wilson (q.v.).
The Hon. J. W. D. Wilson, president of St Kitts, married Sarah Ann, eldest daughter of R. Cardin, Esquire, formerly of Maidstone in 1824. Sarah Ann (1800-1848) was the daughter of Richard Cardin and sister of John and Richard Edward Cardin (all q.v.).
