Biography

Born 21/07/1810 in Jamaica, daughter of John Rodon and his wife Eliza Burke Forbes nee Ludford. Baptised firstly in St Catherine 10/08/1810 and again the following year in Vere: "Rodon - Ann Mitchell, the daugher of John Rodon Esquire and Eliz. his wife, now deceased, of Ainsley Plantation / Carpenter's Mountains in this Parish, was baptized at George Rodon's Esquire father to John Rodon / at Dry River Estate 28th March 1811 by me, Edmund Pope, Rector."

She married Edward Lovell 07/07/1831 in St Mary's, Bryanstone Square, when she was described as of this parish and Edward Lovell was of Wells in Somerset. In 1851 they were living in New Street, Wells, when Edward's occupation was given as solicitor. By 1861 Anne had remarried, gained the surname Isaacson, and was living without her husband at Bute Cottage, Beaumont, Jersery, described as 'fundholder'. She was at Constantia Lodge, Jersey, widowed in 1881.
