Robert Bartram Summers

Biography

Warner Ottley and Charles Summers claimed and were apparently awarded the compensation for the Friendship estate on St Vincent as the executors of Robert Barham [?] Summers and his wife Elizabeth Rio as mortgagees. This was probably Robert Bertram otherwise Bartram Summers surgeon of Chertsey Surrey whose will was proved 02/03/1810: the will identified his 'present wife' as Elizabeth (he referred to their marriage settlement of 1802) and his executor as his brother Charles Summers, although it is silent on property in the West Indies.
