Boyd Porterfield of Duchal

???? - 1795

Biography

Grandson of Alexander Porterfield of Porterfield (d. 1743). Became the main Porterfield heir on the death of his first cousin William Porterfield of Porterfield in 1752. Also inherited a share in Grand Vale estate in Jamaica from his step-grandmother Margaret Porterfield nee Campbell in 1754. He appears to have sold his share in Grand Vale at some point between 1775 and 1782.
