Co-owner with David Bernard the elder of the Retreat estate in St James: both men appear to have died c. 1769. Nothing further has been traced of him: online genealogical material suggests that he might have been connected to Massachusetts.

Born into slavery in Carriacou, Grenada, Malvina Wells became a lady's maid in Edinburgh and a trusted family friend to her employers.
