Heir of Sir Robert Mackreth (q.v.), from whom he inherited 3/10ths of Tufton Hall on Grenada and the enslaved people on it. His own will, proved 08/06/1842, is silent on West India property, and he did not appear in the compensation records, implying he had sold the interest in the estate.
