Thomas Orby Hunter MP

Biography

MP for Winchelsea 1741-1759 and 1760-1769. Heir of his father Robert Hunter to as yet unidentified estates in Jamaica. Thomas Orby Hunter was listed in the Jamaican Quit Rent books for 1754 as the owner of 1800 acres of land in Westmoreland.
