The will was generic and left his [unspecified] property to his wife for life and then to his [also unspecified] heirs. In the grant of administration to Philip Gibbes, he [Gibbes] was described as the guardian of Francis Ford, Martha Ford, Ann Ford and Elizabeth Ford, children of the deceased Elizabeth Ford, the widow of Samuel Osborne, who had later married Francis Ford. Her children were the universal legatees under the will of Samuel Osborne.
