Natural son of Robert Ross of Henrietta Street and Bybrook (q.v.), who left him £5000, with another £10,000 at 25, and one-third of his residuary estate in his will proved in 1821. At that time he was living with 'Captain Haverfield', the husband of Mary, another natural child of Robert Ross.
- Samuel Ross has not been traced with confidence to date. He was conceivably the Samuel Ross [formerly of Southampton but late of Tottenham Street, Tottenham Court Road] St Pancras [made at Southampton in 1838] proved 15/06/1843, which left all his property in trust with John Duncan to buy an annuity for Julia Ross, then living with him.
