Second son of Thomas Werge Esquire of Horton Castle, Northumberland, and his wife Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Wilson Esquire of Milfield. Settled in Jamaica. Married a Miss Neufville. Had one son who died aged 16. Deceased by 1795.

Thomas Werg, son of Thomas Werg of Horton, baptised in Chatton, Northumberland, 30/12/1745.
