A member of the Littledale family of Whitehaven and Liverpool, dying in Demerara c. 1805. Alfred and Anthony Littledale had been slave factors in Demerara.

Free woman of colour; left Demerara in 1812 as a young woman and settled in Starthforth, Yorkshire, where she died in 1862.

A cover note outlining the contents of the document.
