???? - 1766
Will of Thomas Williams of Nevis proved 08/07/1767. This will has not been fully analysed by LBS but includes legacies to a wide network in Nevis. He made an unusual proviso that Elizabeth Sanders spinster who had lived with him as a housekeeper should present an account of what she owed and what was owed to her, and the the trustees should settle the balance promptly, he having faith in her. He left her an annuity of £100 p.a. currency. He entailed an unnamed estate on Nevis to John Williams Sanders and his heirs. From the records concerning the latter's son Francis Williams Sanders (q.v.), it appears that the estate bequeathed by Thomas Williams was all or part of Saddle Hill.
PROB 11/931/22.
