MP for a series of constituencies between 1794 and 1824. Grandson and co-heir of John Banister (q.v.). He was party to a deed of 1787 as an 'Infant Mortgagee' in the redemption of a mortgage held by him and others as heirs of John Banister over an estate described as Dickinson's Bay Plantation and tentatively identified by LBS as later forming part of Marble Hill.
