Biography

Widow of Henry Archbould the youngest (q.v.), who had owned the Constant Spring estate and the enslaved people attached to it in Jamaica. The couple died in England 'of Bath' within a few years of each other.

  1. Will of 'Sarah Arhbould or Archbould' Rosewell widow of Bath [made in 1806 with several codicils] proved 20/06/1812. She gave legacies of £100 and £20 to various individuals, including £100 to her god-daughter Georgina Archbould Dunston, daughter of the late George Pinnock Dunston of Jamaica. Her residuary heir was Charles Price Bennett, son of her late brother George Rosewell Bennett.
