Biography

Early purchaser of land in Dominica, original purchaser (as Charles Dunlop) of Lot No. 17 (68 acres) and with Robert Fowle Lot No. 20 (243 1/2 acres), of which latter by c. 1773 he was 'present proprietor.' In the will of William Snell (q.v.), Snell characterised the Blenheim estate as previously belonging Charles Dunlap.
