Biography

Nathaniel Wick of New Sarum was among a group of 16 annuitants created in 1775 when each purchased an annuity from Jacob Kladen (q.v.) secured on Kladen's St Vincent property, including named enslaved people, to raise £11,000. Wick purchased an annuity of £50 p.a. in common with almost all the other subscribers, on the lives of Selenah Maria Anne Grose and Mary Louisa Grose.

  1. Will of Nathaniel Wick of Bath [made in] proved 26/07/1790. He left property in England to his sisters and his residuary estate to Selenah Maria Anne Grose and Mary Louisa Grose, the grand-daughters of Frances Andrews (q.v.); he also made these two grand-daughters of Frances Andrews his executors.
