Slave-owner on Nevis, and heir to Thomas Williams of Nevis (q.v.) whose housekeeper Elizabeth Sanders was John Williams Sanders sister. In an indenture of 1782, John Williams Sanders and Roger Pemberton sold to Samuel Woodley an estate of 120 acres in St Thomas Lowland Nevis and a parcel of land purchased of Walter Rossington by Thomas Williams and left by him to John Williams Sanders.
