Agnes Walrond, born 27/08/1784 and baptised 02/10/1784 in St Michael, Barbados, daughter of Benjamin Charnock Walrond and his wife Judith Elizabeth nee Howell. Not found in the 1841 English census but listed for tax purposes at St Petersburg Place, Westminster in 1841. Living at Worongow Road, Marylebone, in the census of 1851, age 66, born Barbados, annuitant, with her sister Margaret Ann Walrond and one female servant. At 8 Belsize Road, Hampstead, in 1861, age 76, again with Margaret Ann and with two female servants. Age 86 in 1871, at 7 Belsize Road, with Margaret Ann and two female servants. The death of Agnes Walrond, age 92, was registered Q4 1876 at Hampstead.

Born into slavery in Carriacou, Grenada, Malvina Wells became a lady's maid in Edinburgh and a trusted family friend to her employers.
