Probably resident in Jamaica, awarded the compensation for the enslaved people on the Montreal estate in St Mary Jamaica as executor and trustee of John Kelly. The main claim was contested by Thomas Kelly of Dublin, who characterised John Kelly as the acting executor of William Kelly who had died in London in 1829 after returning from Jamaica.
