Biography

Son of Snowden White and Mary Corrance of Parham Hall, Suffolk (Mary Corrance had inherited the estate from her cousin Elizabeth Long). Frederick White of Parham Hall, Suffolk changed his name to Corrance in 16/05/1837.

1. Married Frances Anne Woodley 27/09/1819, 3rd daughter of William Woodley, 'governor of Berbice'.  Will of Frederick Corrance late of Parham who died 29/10/1873 proved 02/02/1874 effects under £7000. Frederick and Frances Corrance's son Frederick Snowden Corrance was Conservative MP for Suffolk Eastern 1867-1874. Another son, Charles Thomas Corrance, married Arabella Louisa, the daughter of the Rev. George Carpenter Hale (q.v.) and Arabella Louisa Woodburne Woodley.
