John Mullings Bromfield, born 10/04/1809 and baptised 09/06/1810 at Bellfield, son of John Frederick Bromfield and Mary his wife. Baptised at the same time was his first cousin Deborah Mullings Swaby (their mothers Mary and Ann were both daughters of Edward Mullings (q.v.) and Susanna, a "free Negro").
