1781 - 1863

Claimant or beneficiary

Biography

Awarded part of the compensation for enslaved people on Grove state in Nevis with Rev. William Butler and William Wickham (both of whom q.v.) as representatives of Duke Butler.

  1. Tentatively identified as Arundell Mary Frome, who in 1851 was living u[nmarried] at the Manchion [sic] House, Puncknowle aged 69, 'Householder Proprietor', and who died in 1863 leaving £1500. It appears unusual for a spinster to be acting as what was probably an administratrix.
