Biography

Daughter of Philip Wilson of Tobago (q.v.). Awarded part of the compensation for a currently unknown estate (but possibly Montpelier) on Tobago as mortgagee: the balance went as one amount to two other mortgagees, one of them William Sloane Wilson (q.v.), the cousin of Martha Euphemia Wilson (and probably also the trustee of the marriage settlement of his sister, Matilda Euphemia Wilson with Bennett Michell: the father of William Sloane Wilson and probably of Matilda Euphemia was Thomas Wilson of Tobago (q.v.)).   

  1. Death of Martha Euphemia Wilson registered at Kensington Q1 1851. Will of Martha Euphemia Wilson spinster of Teignmouth Devon proved 26/05/1851. Under the will she left monetary legacies of £100-£500 to a very wide network of cousins, many of them members of the Hamilton family formerly of Tobago. The will also identifies Matilda Euphemia Wilson as her cousin.
