Humphrey Head (Cumberland)
Summerhouse or folly on Humphrey Head. Little appears to be known about the history of the building, said to have first appeared on maps c. 1825. The Humphrey Head 'estate' was bequeathed by Thomas Pepper Thompson in his will dated1819/20 (proved in 1823). This is only a tentative connection to a 'legacy'.
