T71/1609: letter, dated 12/10/1836, from Lewis Lecesne to the Court of Chancery, confirming the receipt of a letter and mortgage deed from Wm. Thos. Rainy, of Roseau, and enquiring what to do next. The letter states that Wm. Thos. Rainy was the administrator of David Rainy, and had a mortgage on the property of the claimant Benoit Foy. Wm. Thos. Rainy's documents would be delivered by Wm. Doyle of this island; in case of delay in delivery, one should apply to hear of Mr Doyle at Jn Constable esq., merchant, Brabant court.
