T71/1213: replication by Andrew Colvill and Alexander Seton, stating that they purchased enslaved persons from Taylor Cathcart, the only trustee of James Thomson, in January 1832. Neither Taylor Cathcart nor James Thomson had any part of the 1796 partnership on which the counterclaim was based.
