Jamaica Almanac (1828): Latium estate registered to William Murray, with 473 enslaved persons.
Joseph Sturge and Thomas Harvey, The West Indies in 1837 (London, Hamilton, Adams, & Co., 1838) p. 223: the authors visited Latium estate, 'considered one of the best managed properties in the island'. The estate had 450 enslaved persons in 1834. No ownership information is given, but the attorney is identified as Henry Hunter. Ibid. p. 224: reference to a large pen and coffee estate in another parish belonging to the same proprietor. (Possibly Manchester claim no. 112?).
