But received by Compensation Commission was a 'deed of assignment executed by all parties interested of the compensation money to Joseph Young'.
T71/1183: counterclaim against Robert Fairweather of Highgate, St Marys, Jamaica as overseer by Wm Noble of Bishop Wearmouth [Bishopwearmouth], County Durham; Gardener [?] in right of late wife Elizabeth; William Glaves of Scarboro Gardener and Frances his wife; Stephen Lowrey of Bishop Wearmouth aforesaid Gardener as the eldest son and heir at law of Stephen Lowrey late of same place Butcher, plus one other couple of Halifax. Joseph Young of Bishop Wearmouth was solicitor for the said claimants.
