Kathleen Mary Butler, The Economics of Emancipation: Jamaica and Barbados 1823-1843 (Chapel Hill and London, University of North Carolina Press, 1995) p. 88: in 1838, Thomas William Bradshaw bought the Highland estate in St Thomas for £14,285. He sold it within a year to Nathaniel Forte for £15,714.

 

T71/561 p. 113: enslaved persons were registered by John C. Packer in 1834.
