Barrett, dated 07/11/1794, for £58714 5s 9d. Counterclaim from Wm. Dyer, as administrator of John Graham Clarke, mortgagee. Counterclaim from Lawrence Oliphant and Margaret Gillis (his wife) and Martin Williams; and George Shinn (?) Storey, as annuitants and trustees under indres dated 29/02/1812.

Ibid. pp. 147-8: Martin Williams's daughter Mary married Rev. Henry Cornwall Legh, heir to High Legh estate, Knutsford, Cheshire, 'one of the oldest & best families in the county, and possessed of an estate of £10,000 per an.', according to Martin Williams on 14/05/1839.
