Joseph Sturge and Thomas Harvey, The West Indies in 1837 (London, Hamilton, Adams, & Co., 1838) p. 202: 'We stayed several hours at the Moneague, and called upon a gentleman by the name of BRYDON, to whom we had an introductory letter. He had just sold his estate in the neighbourhood, as he was anxious to return home.' Brydon was also attorney for several properties.
