T71/1200: counterclaim by 'John Atkins of Walbrook London by Andrew Simpson St Andrew Jamaica his attorney', mortgagee in fee simple for £18,000. Atkins withdrew his counterclaim. 'Attorney of Jas Cargill annulling the withdrawal of the counterclaim'. Letter dated 21/01/1836 'from John Atkins praying that the Comp. money may be pd to him, as counterclaimant ['as the attorney of Mr Cargill' deleted here] and transmitting two letters from the Claimant shewing his intention that the compensation money should be paid to him'.
