T71/1606 letter from James Johnstone, sole proprietor of Whitehall Estate, from Midgham House near Newbury, Berkshire, dated 20/09/1835, 'In reference to your rules dated the 10th March last, particularly to No. 6 of clause 55, I will thank you to proceed to award to me as early as convenient what I may be entitled to under the Return made to you from Jamaica numbered 168.'
