T71/854: claim from Frances Ball (nee Summers). The original claim was from Bennet Harvey, as guardian of F. Summers. Various counterclaims were made. March 1838: petition from B. Harvey, William Ball and Frances Ball, praying an award in their favour. 'Power of attorney from William Ball and Frances his wife with separate examination and consent of wife produced'. Enslaved persons were registered in 1832 by Bennet Harvey, as guardian of Thomas Summers.
