T71/1606: letter, dated 02/03/1836, from Johnston & Farquhar, stating: we know that 'in the regular [sic] we cannot obtain the certificate until Saturday next. Mr Denton one of the parties who is to receive the compensation money is remaining in town at a great inconvenience to himself for that purpose, and we should esteem it a particular favour if you would grant us this Cert. immediately'.
